What makes someone an "expert" ?

I define expertise in anti-trafficking initiatives through the combination of the following three areas:

Direct and prolonged lived experience of human trafficking.

The ongoing pursuit of learning about human trafficking & intersecting issues.

Practice and application of knowledge and skills in anti-trafficking initiatives.
